Terms of Service

1. These terms

These terms form the agreement between you and Hiru Web Design when you use this website or subscribe to one of our services. By signing up you accept them.

2. What we provide

• Website subscription — £30/month. We build a website for your business using the information and content you give us (including your public social media content), host it, and make changes you request by WhatsApp or email. We aim to have the first version live within 24 hours of receiving everything we need; that target depends on you supplying content and is not a guarantee.
• Dynamic QR code — £10/month. We generate a QR code that redirects to a web address you choose, and let you change that destination while your subscription is active.
• “Unlimited changes” means reasonable ongoing edits to your existing site (text, images, sections, contact details). It does not include building additional websites, custom web applications, e-commerce systems or bespoke development, which we would quote separately.

3. Payment, cancellation and refunds

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by telling us or through Stripe; your service runs to the end of the paid period and is not renewed.
• We do not generally refund part-months, but if we have not delivered what you paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
• If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, we may take your website offline and stop your QR code redirect.

4. Your content and responsibilities

• You keep ownership of the text, photos, logos and other material you give us, and you grant us permission to use it to build, host and maintain your site.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you supply, including images and anything taken from your social media accounts, and that it is accurate and not misleading.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of prices, claims and contact details shown on your site.
• You must keep any access credentials we give you secure and not share them.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use our services or QR redirects to:

• publish unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene or hateful material;
• infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
• distribute malware, run phishing or scam pages, or mislead people about where a QR code leads;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, probe, scan or overload them, or scrape the site at scale.

6. Our intellectual property

The Hiru Web Design name, branding, this website, our templates, code and design system remain ours. On payment you receive the right to use the website we build for your business for as long as you subscribe.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end a service without refund if you breach these terms, if payment is not made, or if the content is unlawful. We may also stop offering a service by giving you at least 30 days' notice, and will refund any period paid for but not delivered.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep hosted sites and QR redirects available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and we rely on third-party providers such as our hosting and payment partners. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

10. Governing law and contact
